Green Day to Host ‘Revolution Radio’ on KROQ This Friday - LOS ANGELES

Billie Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool, and Mike Dirnt are taking over KROQ 5-6pm

Green Day will be taking over the KROQ airwaves this Friday (October 7) from 5-6pm, coinciding with the release of their 12th studio album, Revolution Radio.

Forget our usual playlist – we told the guys to play whatever they want, so expect a bunch of old school punk rock and and some newer stuff that’s on their radar. They’ll also be giving away tickets to see them at their sold out Palladium show October 17th!

Doors 6:30pm, Performance 7pm  

Purchase the album Revolution Radio in the store day of show for entry. 

Album must be purchased in store at Rough Trade NYC and not online. 

Sales begin at 11am on 10/7

Billie Joe Armstrong plays a washed-up musician in his leading-man debut, Ordinary World — a coming-of-middle-age dramedy that follows ex-punk Perry (Armstrong) as he shakes up his relatively boring existence as a family man and embraces his rock star roots for a night. How does one break up the tedium of everyday life in the 'burbs? By renting a fancy hotel room in the city for your 40th birthday! What could possibly go wrong, right? Basically, imagine if Green Day suddenly became irrelevant and Armstrong was nothing more than a lame dad with terrible judgment.
