Ladies and Gentlemen, grab your air guitars and head on over to our beautiful Chrysler Hall on January 25th to see the hard-rockin' Green Day musical "American Idiot". The show will perform a 2-night stand ( 3 performances) in Norfolk and is sure to bring the house down. Who would've thought that the three dudes from the band "Green Day" would actually write a Broadway musical? I certainly didn't. I mean, after all, they did title one of their best albums, "Dookie" (whatever THAT means). The guys managed to change the lyrical direction of their tunes onto a more mature, poilitical avenue with the release of their award-winning album, "American Idiot" from which this musical is based. I am extremely curious to see the end result because I have a feeling that it's gonna be the best thing that's hit this town since...Mary Poppins! ~Purchase tickets here.

If you get the opportunity to see American Idiot, take it! My husband and I went to San Francisco to see it at the Orpheum Theatre - an experience we won't forget and are so glad we had -- the show was absolutely amazing!!! If you can, Go! Go! Go!
