REVOLUTION RADIO OUT OCTOBER 8TH ON REPRISE RECORDS
September 6th, 2016 - (Los Angeles, CA) - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day have added live dates in Kraków, Poland (January 21) and Prague, Czech Republic (January 22) as part of their European arena tour in support of the band’s forthcoming new album Revolution Radio. Tickets for the newly added shows will be available for purchase beginning this Friday, September 16th at 9:00 AM CET. The Interrupters will support all dates in Europe.

Perry (Billie Joe Armstrong) is a happily married father of two living a comfortable but sedate life in the suburbs. “I couldn’t tell if I was late for my funeral or early for my funeral,” Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong joked at the Fox Theater on Friday. Armstrong had a point — spending a few hours watching local bands pay tribute to some of your own greatest hits seems a bit like witnessing a eulogy for the living.
But instead, “A Tribute to Dookie,” hosted by Bay Area nonprofit UnderCover Presents, was more so a celebration of life — the life that Green Day’s seminal album breathed into the East Bay punk scene and the life of 924 Gilman, the iconic Berkeley all-ages venue that brought the

We’re proud to announce that we’ve teamed up with the non-profit UnderCover Presents for a tribute to Green Day’s “Dookie” in order to raise money for the continued operations of our beloved 924 Gilman Street. Given Green Day’s history with and continued support of 924 Gilman, it was a natural choice to work on this production together.
The record will be performed live, in order, by more than a dozen local bands from punk to twang to indie to classical to EDM. (full list below!)
