After a Friday (7/30) appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Green Day [ tickets ] will launch a summer stadium tour of both North and South America in support of last year's "21st Century Breakdown."
The band -- singer/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool -- kick off the trek Aug. 3 in Camden, NJ. The 18-city U.S. portion, which includes an Aug. 7 appearance at Chicago's Lollapalooza, wraps up Sept. 4 in San Francisco. After a month-long break, the trio will work its way through South America, beginning with an Oct.
What inspires your art?
Sometimes music. When I discovered Green Day's American Idiot album, I just listened to it non-stop. I also listen to a lot of books on tape while I'm painting.
In 2005, Cora made television history becoming the first and only female Iron Chef on Food Network's hit show, "Iron Chef America".
The following year, Cora was named Executive Chef of Bon Appétit along with receiving their Teacher of the Year Award.
Cora, an author of two cookbooks, recently opened Kouzzina (Greek for "kitchen") at Walt Disney World's Boardwalk Resort, which offers Mediterranean-style cuisine that pays tribute to her Greek roots.
