    GREEN DAY ADDS DATES IN KRAKÓW AND PRAGUE

    REVOLUTION RADIO OUT OCTOBER 8TH ON REPRISE RECORDS

    September 6th, 2016 - (Los Angeles, CA) - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day have added live dates in Kraków, Poland (January 21) and Prague, Czech Republic (January 22) as part of their European arena tour in support of the band’s forthcoming new album Revolution Radio. Tickets for the newly added shows will be available for purchase beginning this Friday, September 16th at 9:00 AM CET. The Interrupters will support all dates in Europe.

    Not long ago, before he pushed his band to record three albums all at once and landed himself in rehab, before a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction left him with little to prove, Billie Joe Armstrong had some strict rules for Green Day.     Universal Pictures Home Entertainment Content Group has set an October 14 day-and-date release for Ordinary World, fka Geezer, a comedic drama starring Billie Joe Armstrong that premiered at Tribeca in April. The Green Day frontman plays Perry, an aging former punk rocker who’s now a married father of two. He leads a sedate life in Queens until his brother (Chris Messina) gives him money to throw a huge 40th birthday rockstar bash in a fancy Manhattan hotel — a chance to get it out of his system. But Perry’s puck past clashes with his middle-age reality.

    Green Day returns to the top of the heap on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart with a, well, bang, as "Bang Bang" -- the lead single from the group's upcoming 12th studio album Revolution Radio -- leaps 5-1 on the tally dated Sept. 10.

    The song becomes Green Day's fourth No.
