Green Day is one of the headliners at Lollapalooza 2010.
On Tuesday, Lollapalooza will confirm its 2010 headliners as previously reported in the Tribune and other news sources: Lady Gaga, Green Day, Arcade Fire, the Strokes and Phoenix. Promoters will also announce the remainder of the 124-artist lineup for their Aug. 6-8 festival in Grant Park.

Green Day's "American Idiot" musical doesn't officially open on Broadway until April 20, but Green Day are celebrating every day in April — and they want you to join in the fun.
The band has partnered with MTV to give 300 lucky fans the chance to attend a performance of "Idiot" during opening week. Beginning Tuesday (April 6) and running through Sunday, fanatics can go to AmericanIdiot.MTV.com to win tickets to a special April 22 performance at New York's St. James Theatre.

When Green Day: Rock Band launches June 8, it’ll have Green Day albums American Idiot and Dookie, in their entirety, on the disc.
The news comes from European retailer Play who confirmed tracks from the “classic” Dookie Green Day to newer, more political American Idiot offerings.
What’s more, the listing says Green Day members Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool all lent their digital likenesses to the game and provided full motion capture to bottle the band’s sometime zany on-stage antics appropriately.

But though the three still-boyish men are still dressed in Chucks, leather jackets, and skinny jeans and still sport tinted hair, they have matured a bit, drummer Tre Cool says to me while plopped on a couch at 119 Bar, on East 15th Street.
