I've had friends that have gotten tribute tattoos for their wives, husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends, and you know what? Those relationships never seem to last! Some believe that there is some kind of wacky curse that inflicts the relationship after going under the needle. Recently, Amber Rose got a HUGE tattoo of her fiancee Wiz Khalifa's face on her arm. It's so big that covering it up will prove near impossible, so let's hope for her it all works out! And you know what is surprising?

Oakland's own Green Day performed at Berkeley's Greek Theatre & hosted some VIPs from Children's Hospital Oakland! Children's Oakland patients & parents attended sound check & hung out with the band backstage before the concert. Also participating were members of REAL professional skateboard team. Ah, the side project. It's the perfect outlet for a creatively overstimulated musician who just can't be contained to one band. Unfortunately, many side projects are one-and-dones, rarely getting to tour or exist outside of the artist's main gig. Chances are good that several of you guys enjoy Green Day. We also know that a lot of Flyer readers like to check out a good Broadway show ever once in a while. Those of you who are fans of both, get pumped.
The Broadway adaptation of Green Day’s Grammy Award-winning album American Idiot is coming to Fayetteville in a few weeks, and we’ve got some tickets to give away to the opening night show.
The show tells the story of “three lifelong friends, forced to choose between their dreams and the safety of suburbia,” and features several tracks from the album including “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “21 Guns,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” “Holiday” and of course, “American Idiot.”
It opens at the Walton Arts Center on Friday, April 26, and runs through Sunday, April 28.

Green Day will be attending the opening night of the Newport Beach Film Festival on Thursday (4/25) for a special gala as they screen 'Broadway Idiot' - the first documentary in the festival's history. Here's good news for Green Day fans: judging from the band's sprawling two-and-half-hour set Thursday at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, singer/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong seems to have slayed his demons -- or at least figured out how harness them to drive marathon-like performances.
