Green Day's 'Revolution Radio' Generates Second Rock Airplay No. 1

"Still Breathing" follows "Bang Bang" to the top of the chart.

Green Day crowns Billboard's Rock Airplay chart (dated Jan. 14) for a second time with a single from its latest album, Revolution Radio, as "Still Breathing," the band's fourth No. 1 on the chart overall, rises 2-1.

The second single from the band's 12th studio LP gains by 3 percent to 11 million audience impressions in the week ending Jan. 1, according to Nielsen Music. Lead single "Bang Bang" ruled the chart for three weeks beginning Oct. 22.

As Green Day earns its fourth Rock Airplay No. 1 (dating to the chart's 2009 launch), the band takes sole possession of the second-most leaders, passing The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant and Linkin Park, each with three; Foo Fighters lead with five.

Green Day first led with "Know Your Enemy" on June 20, 2009, the week that the chart premiered. "Oh Love" became the band's second No. 1, for seven weeks in 2012.
