They're all right. Not amazing but at least different which is more than can be said for most homogenous pop bands. They're specifically lacking in one thing though and that's a strong lead guitarist. Sure, keyboards are fine but it doesn't feel the same. They do have a guitarist but the audio is turned way down so that it gets drowned out under the bass. 30STM however seem like just another generic rock band (if you can call them that but wikipedia does).
Wow. I can't believe Green Day lost against a band I had honestly never seen nor heard of before. I guess that's mainstream pop for you, 30 Seconds seems to have quite a fanbase of its own. Still, you guys are better 'cause you don't use auto tune.
I know, right? I see people like Ed Sheeran and go, hey he's sorta familiar because of the A-Team song and Paramore but is there but others like 30STM and Tokio Hotel? I'm like, who are those people? I just hope 30STM if they're in it next year doesn't use auto tuned songs.
Look at the standings now. I kid you not, 30 Seconds to Mars is up against a band called Walk the Moon (Damn sci-fi bands). Also I think the whole deal with these obscure bands getting so many votes is probably all down to a couple of hipsters repeatedly clicking the vote button all day. Seriously, you should only be able to vote once... otherwise there's simply no competition!
Yeah-and voting more than once actually brought down the percents, yet you see people staying up until like six in the morning putting clicking just one buttons hour after hour, they are such hypocrites.Voting a few times is okay, but some people took it to the extreme. I've never even heard of Walk To The Moon-I'll have to look them up.
