As frontman for Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong saw the group's 1994 debut album Dookie go triple-platinum. The band went on to win a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Performance that year and sold 10 million copies worldwide. Follow-up hit albums include 2004's American Idiot and last year's 21st Century Breakdown. Armstrong and his bandmates also wrote the lyrics and music for the Broadway show American Idiot, which is nominated for three Tony Awards. On June 8, Green Day: Rock Band will go on sale.
