10-29 - IDIOT CLUB
We hope you are enjoying the new site and the updated Idiot Club. We heard that some new Idiot Club members are having some difficulty with the registration process. The peeps at the Idiot Club want to do all they can to help. If you are having any issues, please email info@idiotclub.com with your full name, email address, username and the issues you are encountering. They are available 24/7 for you and will make sure everything is taken care of right away. Remember – they can’t help if you don’t reach out. So bug them all you want… they are there to help!

We’re excited to let you know about the improvements we’re making to our official site and the Idiot Club.
We’ve been behind the scenes trying to make the new greenday.com as user-friendly as possible - in addition to making the new Idiot Club even better than before (if you can imagine that). We’re happy to unveil both new sites and we know you’ll be pleased with the results.
Current Idiot Club members will receive an email in the next few days with their login information so they can be the first to get a look! Then, all of you that have yet to join the Idiot Club will be able to jump in and start enjoying the new site. There will even a cool feature on the new greenday.com for Idiot Club members only. Just a taste of the awesome new things to come!

Need your Green Day fix? Fuse will be airing “Green Day: Making of American Idiot Video” back to back with “Loaded: Green Day” this Saturday, October 18th at 3:00pm ET. Not enough?
Make sure to catch your fav rockers cameo in “The Simpsons Movie” (2007), airing on MAX October 25th through October 29th. Check your local listings for specific times. Still wanting more you say? E! will be airing The Saturday Night Live Green Day episode on November 1st at 10pm ET and November 2nd at 1am ET. So program that tivo, plug it into those records or just plain tune in!

Billie Joe Armstrong is dusting off his rarely used "other band" Pinhead Gunpowder for two shows in California next month. Pinhead Gunpowder will perform at Chain Reaction in Anaheim on February 3rd and the Troubadour in LA on February 4th.

10-19 - Two Special Idiot Club Contests
Log into the Idiot Club and check out the Idiot Club forums - there are two special contests taking place! Design a new wallpaper for the NRDC Green Day site... and a pumkin carving contest! Prizes include a Mike Dirnt Fender bass, a Billie Joe Armstrong model Gibson guitar, and a grab bag of signed and one of a kind items.

09-21 - Vote for Green Day!
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Awards, CBS and The Academy will present "My Night at the GRAMMYs," a new entertainment special set to air on Friday, November 30, 8 - 10 p.m. ET/PT.
This two-hour telecast will highlight GRAMMY Awards show history as artists tell their personal stories of what it means to perform on the show that has become Music's Biggest Night. Additionally, it will raise awareness of The Academy's and the GRAMMY Awards' anniversary milestones and further engage music fans by providing an interactive element.
From now through October 7, viewers and members have the chance to be part of this historical special by voting for their favorite GRAMMY moments at www.mynightatthegrammys.com. Fifty great GRAMMY moments from past telecasts, selected by The Academy, are posted on the site - including Green Day performing American Idiot. Users can vote for up to five of their favorite moments. (Voting is restricted to five votes per IP address per day.) The 25 performances that receive the most votes will be seen on "My Night at the GRAMMYs," culminating with the most popular performance as voted on by music fans. The deadline to vote for favorite GRAMMY moments is midnight ET on Sunday, October 7, 2007, so be sure to log on and vote soon for your favorite GRAMMY moments!
