  • GRAMMY winner Miranda Lambert discussed her forthcoming 56th GRAMMY telecast performance with Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong during rehearsals for the 56th GRAMMYs on Jan. 23 in Los Angeles. Lambert also discussed her plans to perform "It Might As Well Rain Until September" in tribute to Carole King at the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year gala, among other topics.

    Music's Biggest Night will take place live on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8–11:30 p.m.

  • Madonna has joined the already star-studded performance lineup at the Grammys on Sunday. Today, the Recording Academy confirmed the Material Girl's appearance along with several other performers: Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong will team with Miranda Lambert in tribute to the Everly Brothers' Phil Everly, who passed away earlier this month, and Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will also perform.

    Last year, Armstrong teamed with Norah Jones to record the Everly Brothers tribute album Foreverly.
