Oh my god this was the most devistating news to hear that my show has been canceled, I have been waiting for three years to see you guys and finally got tickets, and to hear the show has been canceled instead of just rescheduled confuses me but on the other hand it is really good to hear that Billie is working so hard on his path to recovery and I wish him the best of luck. I really really REALLY hope you guys revisit all the places you canceled and have a great new year

So glad to hear that Bj is doing better, have my fingers crossed that they might make a tour date for Newcastle (England) c:

I am so disappointed that the Wilkes-Barre show has been cancelled.  My 9 year old son has been begging to see you guys for 2 years.  I bought the tickets as a Christmas gift and now the show has been cancelled.  I understand that things happen, but what is the reasoning behind not rescheduling.  I hope that people who had tickets for the cancelled shows somehow get first chance or discounted tickets for new shows that may be booked in the future.

Hey Green Day! Hope you guys had a fantastic New Year's. I love your music, you were my biggest inspiration to start playing the guitar. I just hope I get to see you in concert soon!!! Please consider somewhere in Colorado for an upcoming concert, I would love to see you guys :) Getting feeling better Billie Joe Armstrong! You guys are my idols!

Hey, this is probobly a stupid question but, what site can we buy these tickets on?  I clicked on "Tour" at the top of the Green Day home page and it doesn't show any US shows..

Yay! I'm happy to hear that Billie is doing better and can't wait to see you live when you come to the Pat Center which I am hoping to get tickets for!  All of you stay healthy :) Uno!, Dos! and Tre! were great and it'll be my first real concert!

I'm happy for all those who will be able to see Green Day. And would like to say I'm sorry to those who have had their dates cancelled (I can relate because I was suppose to go to the show in Cleveland, which was also going to be my first concert) I hope that whenever Green Day have the chane they will be able to come to  the cities that in which the concerts were cancelled, whether that be sometime late this year or in two years (but hopefully we won't have to wait that long). I wish Green Day and everyone else the best in this new year. And hopefully Billie Joe continues along the path of recovery

DEAR Green Day,

My name is Kevin and I live in Wisconsin. I am one of your biggest fans. My parents bought me tickets to your concert in Madison for my birthday. I was disappointed when your show was cancelled. I have been listening to your music since I was in high school and I am 24 now. I am your biggest fan. I listen to your music on my iPod when I am at workshop every day and it makes me work hard to make money. I have all of your cds on my iPod. Last year I went to the American Idiot Play. And I really loved the music. I do not have a favorite cd because i like all of your cds. I am so happy Billie Joe is not sick any more. I read rolling stone and i try to read anything I can find about you on the internet. I like to watch your music videos and read your website. I am turning 25 and it would make my birthday so exciting if i could be able to go see you in concert. It would be the best birthday present ever.
I am your biggest fan, Kevin

Kevin is my son and has special needs.  Kevin lives in a group home in WI and has been researching everyday for any news pertaining to Billie Joe's health and potential concert dates. We are all very happy that he has recovered and touring again.  Kevin lives and breathes for his music and your band has given him so much enjoyment and happiness.  Thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.  Kevin's heart broke when the concert was cancelled and was sad to see none were rescheduled in WI as of yet. Hopefully Kevin's dream will come true....

We were planning to take our 12 year old son to Omaha show. Very sad it was cancelled, but understand.   Good wishes for a Happy New Year.

One of my 9 year olds favorite Chritmas gifts was a ticket for the Omaha show that has been canceled. He had tears running down his face when I told him the show had been canceled. Hope another tour comes close.

I'm happy for other fans and even more that Billie is doing well, but no California shows? We need a show in Oakland! :D ✘✘

Amen! I was thinking the same thing too!

Very glad Billie Joe is doing well, that's fantastic

Guys when are you going to come to South Africa?????????????? We have been waiting for SOOOO long :-(

gdchick623's picture

I am very happy to hear that Billie Joe is doing well and healing. I am however really upset that not all of the shows were rescheduled and instead were just cancelled with no explanation. The two shows I had tickets to in PA were just cancelled and I've waited since October with the promise of these shows being rescheduled. I have been very fortunate to see them 7 times prior, but they are by far the best live band ever. Who can blame me for wanting to see them whenever I have the chance. After 18 years of being a fan, preordering albums, waiting hours on end in line to see them and spending a lot of money on concert tickets and merchandise, I am really disappointed. Truthfully, I expected more from such an incredibly awesome band who is so dedicated to their fans and doing everything possible for them.

Man I'm discouraged. I was really excited for the Denver Concert. I was going to campout early so I could get front row seats since that is what the venue offers. I am just down that they canceled that show out of all the other ones. Hopefully you guys can come back to Denver another time. That would make my life. Best of luck though on the tour.
